An experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician is needed for a contract role starting March 2nd in Cambridge, MA. This position primarily supports oncology/infusion pharmacy operations by delivering medications and assisting with nonhazardous sterile compounding. The role involves working closely with infusion clinics, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units, including managing medication delivery to the Pyxis system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medications to infusion clinics, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units
  • Assist with nonhazardous sterile compounding, focusing on non-chemotherapy medications
  • Support daily pharmacy operations, including medication preparation and distribution
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery

Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy Technician licensed in Massachusetts
  • Current IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician certification
  • National certification for pharmacy technicians preferred
  • Previous experience in oncology/infusion or sterile compounding environments is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in fast-paced settings

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Some rotating Saturdays required
