An opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Infusion/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support oncology and infusion pharmacy operations in Cambridge, MA. This role focuses on accurate medication delivery and nonhazardous sterile compounding within a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver medications to the infusion clinic, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units.
- Assist with management and stocking of Pyxis systems.
- Perform non-chemotherapy sterile compounding with a focus on safety and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure timely medication delivery.
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician license in Massachusetts.
- National certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
- IV/Infusion/Oncology compounding experience required.
- Familiarity with sterile compounding and medication delivery logistics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital/clinic setting with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays as needed
Position Type:
- Contract assignment for 13 weeks, starting March 2.
