An opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support the outpatient oncology infusion center at a leading Georgia cancer treatment facility in Canton, GA. This 13-week contract position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing a consistent work-life balance.

Responsibilities include preparing and administering chemotherapy treatments and managing hematology protocols within the infusion center. Skills in IV starts and accessing implanted ports are essential, as is adherence to strict safety and regulatory standards. This role does not involve blood transfusions.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology and infusion pharmacy settings
  • Certification in chemotherapy preparation and handling
  • IV Certification with demonstrated competency in IV starts and implanted port access
  • Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician license
  • Strong knowledge of outpatient oncology infusion protocols and safety guidelines
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills within multidisciplinary teams
