IV Certified Pharmacy Technician - Cape Coral, FL

A reputable healthcare provider in Cape Coral, FL is seeking an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers hands-on experience in sterile compounding within an infusion pharmacy setting, ideal for candidates with previous IV/Infusion pharmacy experience who are ready to start immediately.

Location: Cape Coral, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Duration: 13-week contract with potential to convert to full-time employment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IV medications in a sterile clean room environment under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Fill prescriptions accurately and assist in prepackaging medication for dispensing in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data and support reimbursement processes
• Support final prescription verification by assisting the Pharmacist with medication packaging and delivery coordination
• Maintain inventory integrity by receiving, rotating stock, tracking lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventories
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant workspace by checking equipment calibration, cleanliness, and safety alongside Technician Supervisor

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
• National certification preferred but not mandatory
• Prior IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician experience highly desired
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow sterile compounding procedures
• Ability to thrive under direct supervision in a team-focused environment
