Pharmacy Technician IV Certified - Cape Coral, Florida

A healthcare facility in Cape Coral, FL is seeking an IV Certified Pharmacy Technician for an immediate start on a 13-week contract with potential to convert to a permanent role. This position requires expertise in IV clean room compounding and working closely with pharmacists to prepare and dispense prescriptions.

Location:

• Cape Coral, FL

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IV medications and compounds in a clean room setting under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Assist pharmacists in final checking of prescriptions, including verification and packaging.
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to accurately enter prescription data and support reimbursement processes.
• Support pharmacy management with inventory control, including receiving, rotating, and documenting medication stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workspace, ensuring proper equipment calibration and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Florida Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• National certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience specifically in IV/Infusion pharmacy technician roles is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under direct supervision.
