An opportunity is available for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to support a closed-door long-term care facility on the evening shift. This direct hire role requires a reliable candidate with excellent attendance and the ability to efficiently manage high prescription volumes in a sterile compounding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques, maintaining strict sterility standards.
  • Perform thorough quality assurance checks on compounded sterile products.
  • Manage inventory to ensure uninterrupted supply and compliance with regulations.
  • Adhere to USP 797 standards and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize pharmacy software (Frameworks; training provided) to process approximately 600 prescriptions daily.

Shift:

  • Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • Rotating schedule every other weekend

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
  • Certified in sterile compounding with hands-on experience
  • Proven ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume setting
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and punctual attendance

This position is located in the Woodridge, Illinois area and offers a stable, direct hire opportunity within a closed-door LTC pharmacy setting.
