A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced IV Pharmacy Technician to support evening shift operations at a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. This role requires a dependable professional with a strong commitment to attendance and a focus on sterile compounding best practices.

Location: Woodridge, IL
Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
Schedule: Rotating every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques to maintain sterility and safety
  • Perform thorough quality assurance checks to ensure medication accuracy and compliance
  • Manage pharmacy inventory efficiently to support high-volume operations
  • Adhere to USP 797 standards and all relevant regulatory requirements
  • Utilize pharmacy software systems; training on Frameworks is available

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
  • Certification and experience in sterile compounding essential
  • Proven ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume setting, managing approximately 600 prescriptions daily
  • Strong reliability with excellent attendance record
