An urgent opening is available for a highly skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician with IV certification. This role supports infusion therapy services including antibiotic, fertility, specialty, and biologic therapies at a busy Dallas infusion center. The right candidate will demonstrate impeccable aseptic technique and adherence to strict USP <797>/<800> standards.

Location: Dallas, TX (3409 Worth Street, Suite 740, Dallas 75246)
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Shift: 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM (to be determined)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire with a 13+ week contract and intention for long-term employment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sterile IV admixtures such as TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, and specialty infusions consistent with USP <797> and <800> standards
  • Accurately label, package, and stage compounded products for pharmacist review and timely delivery
  • Maintain clean room sterility through routine environmental cleaning, proper garbing, and detailed documentation
  • Manage inventory of IV medications and supplies to ensure availability and accuracy
  • Complete thorough compounding logs, batch records, and quality control documentation
  • Perform additional duties as directed under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required
  • IV Certification mandatory
  • Minimum 2 years of recent sterile compounding experience; 3+ years preferred
  • At least 4 years of recent pharmacy technician experience in related roles
  • Strong expertise in aseptic protocols with meticulous attention to detail
