IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Dallas, TX

A premier infusion center in Dallas is seeking a highly skilled IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role focuses on sterile compounding of IV admixtures, requiring top-tier expertise in aseptic technique and sterile protocols. The ideal candidate will contribute to providing critical infusion therapies, including antibiotics, chemotherapy, and specialty biologics, ensuring exceptional patient care through precision and compliance.

Location:

• Dallas, TX (3409 Worth Street, Suite 740)

Schedule:

• Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shift within the window of 7am to 6pm (to be determined)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile IV admixtures such as TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, and specialty infusions following USP <797> and <800> standards
• Accurately label, package, and stage compounded products for pharmacist verification and timely delivery
• Maintain clean room sterility through routine environmental cleaning, proper garbing, and thorough documentation
• Manage inventory of IV medications and supplies to ensure availability and minimize waste
• Complete compounding logs, batch records, and quality control documentation with accuracy
• Perform other duties as assigned under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License required
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required
• IV Certification mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years recent sterile compounding experience (3+ years preferred)
• At least 4 years recent pharmacy technician experience overall
• Demonstrated mastery of aseptic protocols and sterile compounding procedures
