Join a prominent oncology infusion center as an IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician at a leading healthcare facility in Canton, GA. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute your specialized skills in a dynamic outpatient oncology environment, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for a 13-week assignment.

Location: Canton, GA
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
    Duration: 13 weeks

    Note: Candidates residing within 50 miles of the location are not eligible to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments in an outpatient infusion center.
  • Utilize IV start skills and access implanted ports to assist with patient care.
  • Support pharmacy operations within the oncology infusion setting, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all protocols related to chemotherapy administration.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings.
  • Certified Chemotherapy Technician (Chemo Cert) with proficiency in outpatient oncology infusion.
  • Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license is required.
  • Strong competency in IV certification and implanted port access.
  • Familiar with hospital inpatient and pharmacy technician duties in a healthcare setting.
