Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Decatur, Georgia

This opportunity is for an IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in oncology and infusion services. The role supports an outpatient oncology infusion center specializing in chemotherapy and hematology treatments.

Location:

• Decatur, GA (Candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week contract beginning March 23

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and related hematology infusions under established protocols
• Perform IV starts and access implanted ports safely and accurately
• Support the infusion center operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy and medical staff to maintain high-quality patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings
• Certification in chemotherapy preparation and administration
• Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license is required
• Proficiency with IV insertion and implanted port access techniques
• Strong knowledge of outpatient chemotherapy protocols and safety guidelines
