Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Decatur, Georgia

A healthcare facility specializing in oncology infusion requires an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract position based in Canton, GA. This role supports outpatient oncology treatment by preparing and administering chemotherapy and hematology medications in a specialized infusion center.

Location: Canton, GA (No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments in an outpatient oncology infusion center
• Handle IV starts and access implanted ports safely and effectively
• Ensure compliance with safety and procedural protocols specific to chemotherapy preparation and administration
• Support infusion center staff by maintaining accurate medication records and inventory
• Collaborate with oncology healthcare professionals to provide safe, quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in oncology/infusion settings
• Certification in chemotherapy preparation and administration required
• GA Pharmacy Technician license mandatory
• Proficient in IV skills and accessing implanted ports
• Ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
