Pharmacy Technician IV Certified - Douglasville, Georgia

An opportunity is available for a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support a retail pharmacy location in Hiram, GA. This role is integral to preparing customized medications such as creams, ointments, capsules, and suspensions under the supervision of a pharmacist, in accordance with USP <795> standards.

Location:

• Hiram, GA (Retail Pharmacy Setting)

Schedule:

• Full-time (30-40 hours) with part-time options available
• Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precisely weigh and measure ingredients to compound non-sterile medications
• Mix, package, label, and document compounds accurately in master logs
• Operate and maintain compounding equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Follow strict cleaning procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain compliance with USP <795> guidelines and safety standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Pharmacy Technician license in Georgia
• Proven experience in non-sterile compounding required
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience in a compounding role
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
