Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Douglasville, Georgia

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support their outpatient oncology infusion center in Canton, GA. This contract opportunity spans approximately 13 weeks, with weekday shifts providing consistent hours and a professional environment.

Location:

• Canton, GA (Note: Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and selected hematology treatments in an outpatient oncology infusion setting
• Utilize expertise in IV start techniques and implanted port access
• Support clinical pharmacy operations in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with oncology care teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain proper documentation and inventory management related to chemotherapy agents

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in oncology/infusion pharmacy technician roles
• Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician license
• Certification in chemotherapy preparation and administration (Chemo Cert)
• Proficient in IV therapy, including implanted port access and IV starts
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
