Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Fort Myers, Florida

An opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support an infusion pharmacy in Fort Myers, FL. This 13-week contract role offers the potential for contract-to-hire based on performance.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform IV clean room compounding duties under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications following standards and government regulations
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter data and support reimbursement processes
• Prepackage medications for dispensing and assist Pharmacist with final verification of filled prescriptions
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
• Assist with inventory management including receiving, rotating stock, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and participating in physical inventory counts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including equipment calibration and cleanliness checks

Desired Experience:

• Prior IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with compounding processes in an infusion pharmacy setting

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
• National certification preferred but not mandatory
