An opportunity is available for an IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support infusion pharmacy operations in Fort Myers, FL. This role involves critical responsibilities in IV clean room compounding and prescription preparation under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. The position offers a 13-week contract with strong potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance.

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare intravenous (IV) medications in the clean room following strict protocols and safety standards.
- Assist the Pharmacist with prescription filling and final checks, including medication packaging and delivery coordination.
- Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to accurately enter prescription data to support reimbursement processes.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by receiving supplies, rotating stock, and recording lot numbers and expiration dates.
- Support Pharmacy Management and Technician Supervisor in ensuring clean, safe workspaces and verifying equipment calibration.
- Comply with all applicable government regulations and pharmacy standards during compounding and dispensing.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Must hold a valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license.
- National Certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in IV/Infusion pharmacy compounding is highly desired.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively under pharmacist supervision and in a team environment.
