Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Fort Myers, Florida

An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with IV certification to support an infusion pharmacy in Fort Myers, FL. This role centers on IV clean room compounding, working closely under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepare and fill prescriptions and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound IV medications in a sterile clean room environment.
• Assist the Pharmacist in final prescription checks and packaging.
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to input prescription data accurately for reimbursement.
• Maintain inventory by receiving supplies, rotating stock, and assisting with physical counts.
• Ensure workspaces and equipment meet cleanliness, calibration, and safety standards.
• Support Pharmacy Management and Technician Supervisor with maintaining operational efficiency.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician experience is highly preferred.
• Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with sterile compounding procedures and pharmacy regulations.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
