An established healthcare facility is seeking a skilled IV/Infusion/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support oncology and infusion pharmacy operations. This contract role offers an opportunity to contribute to medication delivery and nonhazardous sterile compounding in a fast-paced environment. The assignment begins March 2 and spans approximately 13 weeks, with a Monday through Friday schedule and some rotating Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver medications to the infusion clinic, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units.
- Assist with Pyxis medication management systems.
- Perform non-chemotherapy sterile compounding with a focus on medication safety and accuracy.
- Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure seamless medication delivery to oncology and infusion patients.
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts pharmacy technician license in-hand.
- National certification as a pharmacy technician.
- Experience in IV/infusion and chemotherapy pharmacy settings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to sterile compounding protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Rotating Saturdays required.
