An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Infusion/Chemo Pharmacy Technician specializing in sterile compounding within oncology and infusion pharmacy settings. This contract role offers a dynamic work schedule and the chance to contribute to critical medication delivery in a hospital and ambulatory clinic environment.

Location:

  • Framingham, MA

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medications to infusion clinics, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units, ensuring timely and accurate distribution
  • Assist with nonhazardous sterile compounding, focusing primarily on non-chemotherapy preparations
  • Support medication management systems such as Pyxis within the clinical environment
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical teams to maintain safe and effective medication therapy for oncology and infusion patients

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current MA Pharmacy Technician license in-hand
  • National certification as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Proven experience in sterile compounding including IV admixtures, preferably in oncology or infusion settings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, clinical environment with flexible scheduling demands

Contract Details:

  • Start Date: March 2
  • Duration: 13 weeks
