Pharmacy Technician IV Certified - Franklin, Tennessee

An infusion pharmacy in the Franklin, TN area seeks a skilled IV Certified Pharmacy Technician for an 8-week contract opportunity with potential to convert to full-time based on performance. This role operates under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and requires strong attention to detail in preparation and dispensing of IV medications.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous (IV) medications accurately.
• Assist the pharmacist in the final review and packaging of medications.
• Collaborate with billing supervisors to enter prescription data and ensure proper reimbursement.
• Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies, and tracking expiration dates.
• Support pharmacy management in keeping a clean, safe work environment and verifying equipment calibration and safety.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• IV Pharmacy Technician certification and experience preparing IV medications.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Tennessee with an active license.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently under direct supervision and follow government regulations.
