An infusion center in North Texas specializes in comprehensive infusion therapy, including antibiotic, fertility, specialty, and biologic treatments. They are urgently seeking an experienced IV compounding pharmacy technician to join their team in a full-time temp-to-hire role. This position demands top-tier expertise in aseptic technique and sterile compounding protocols to maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Location:

  • Dallas, TX (3409 Worth Street, Suite 740)

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM (exact shift TBD)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sterile IV admixtures—including TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, and specialty infusions—in strict compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards
  • Accurately label, package, and stage compounded products for pharmacist verification and timely delivery
  • Maintain clean room sterility through daily, weekly, and monthly environmental cleaning, proper garbing, and comprehensive documentation
  • Manage inventory of IV medications and supplies to ensure availability and minimize waste
  • Complete precise compounding logs, batch records, and quality control documentation
  • Perform additional duties as directed by a licensed pharmacist

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
  • PTCB Certification required
  • IV Certification required
  • Minimum 2 years recent sterile compounding experience (3+ years preferred)
  • At least 4 years recent pharmacy technician experience
