An experienced home infusion and compounding pharmacy technician position is available for a direct hire opportunity. This role is critical for supporting a growing pharmacy team, working primarily with home infusion and compounding processes. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings, complemented by strong communication skills for patient and provider interactions.

Location: Glendale, CA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with flexible start times at 8 AM, 9 AM, or 10 AM
• Rotating weekends required
• Pharmacy hours operate 7 days per week, 6 AM to 9 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately compound medications for home infusion therapy
• Maintain proprietary workflow system for processing orders and documentation
• Communicate directly with patients and healthcare providers to support medication therapy and resolve issues
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure high-quality patient care and medication safety

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with IV certification preferred
• Experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy environments required
• Strong communication skills for effective patient and provider interactions
• Retail compounding background is highly valued
• Candidates with only inpatient hospital pharmacy experience will not be considered
