This role is ideal for a pharmacy technician who is proficient in sterile compounding and admixture preparation, ensuring safe and accurate medication delivery for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare IV admixtures following strict aseptic techniques and protocols
  • Handle and compound sterile products in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of medication preparation and inventory
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure quality and safety
  • Monitor storage conditions and expiry dates of pharmaceutical products
  • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for infection control and safety

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • IV Certification required
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, specifically with IV admixture preparation
  • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and sterile compounding guidelines
  • Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and record-keeping is a plus
