Inpatient IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Grove City, OH

A hospital in Grove City, OH is seeking four certified Pharmacy Technicians with IV certification for a 13-week contract starting June 14th. This role is ideal for technicians experienced in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings and looking to work in a fast-paced, clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Two positions: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, every other weekend required
• Two positions: 10:00 PM - end of shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense intravenous (IV) medications in compliance with hospital protocols
• Assist pharmacists with inpatient medication distribution and supply management
• Accurately process and verify prescriptions within the hospital pharmacy setting
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely and safe medication delivery

Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician certification required, IV certification preferred
• Previous hospital inpatient pharmacy experience highly valued
• Familiarity with hospital medication dispensing systems and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to regulatory guidelines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
