A healthcare facility in Hilliard, OH, is seeking four certified Pharmacy Technicians with IV certification to support their inpatient hospital pharmacy team on a 13-week contract starting June 14th. This role involves working in a fast-paced hospital setting, providing critical pharmacy support to ensure accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution.
Schedule/Hours:
- Two positions: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, every other weekend
- Two positions: 10:00 PM – end of shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications, including intravenous (IV) admixtures, under pharmacist supervision
- Accurately process inpatient medication orders in compliance with hospital protocols
- Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and ensure proper storage
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to support patient care
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification
- IV Certification required
- Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment
