An opportunity is available for certified Pharmacy Technicians with IV certification to support inpatient hospital pharmacy operations. This contract position offers the chance to apply your skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment located in Hilliard, OH. This 13-week assignment begins mid-June and includes weekday evening and night shifts, perfect for candidates familiar with hospital inpatient pharmacy technician roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications for inpatient use following hospital protocols
- Perform IV admixture and related sterile compounding tasks ensuring patient safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and use within the inpatient setting
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards related to hospital pharmacy operations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician with current credentials
- IV Certification required for sterile compounding duties
- Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy environment preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Schedule:
- Two shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, every other weekend required
- Two shifts from 10:00 PM to end of shift (to be specified)
