Pharmacy Technician IV Certified - Hiram, Georgia

This opportunity is for a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support a retail pharmacy location in Hiram, GA. The position offers full-time or part-time hours within a dynamic team environment where attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards are essential.

Location: Hiram, GA
Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Full-time (30-40 hours) and part-time options available

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized medications including creams, ointments, capsules, and suspensions under pharmacist supervision, following USP <795> guidelines
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix pharmaceutical ingredients for non-sterile compounding
• Package, label, and document compounded medications in compliance with master logs
• Maintain compounding equipment and ensure strict cleanliness standards
• Follow personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols and safety procedures consistently

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum of 1 year of non-sterile compounding experience is required
• Strong understanding of USP <795> guidelines and compounding best practices
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
