Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Hiram, Georgia

A retail pharmacy in Hiram, GA is seeking a skilled Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to prepare customized medications including creams, ointments, capsules, and suspensions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. This role requires strict adherence to USP <795> guidelines to ensure patient safety and medication quality.

Responsibilities:

• Precisely weigh and measure ingredients to compound medications according to prescription orders
• Mix, package, label, and document compounded products accurately in master logs
• Maintain and clean compounding equipment and work areas following strict PPE protocols
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
• Support daily operations during scheduled hours

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Georgia
• IV certification is beneficial but not mandatory
• Minimum of 1 year non-sterile compounding pharmacy technician experience required
• Familiarity with USP <795> and compounding best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols diligently

Schedule & Location:

• Location: Hiram, Georgia (retail pharmacy setting)
• Full-time schedule preferred (30-40 hours per week) with part-time opportunities available
• Hours of operation:
  • Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
