IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Houston, TX

Seeking a licensed and PTCB-certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a specialized sterile compounding pharmacy focused on wellness medications. This full-time position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for direct hire following initial evaluation.

The role involves working within a team consisting of 2 pharmacists and 2 technicians, operating in a clean room environment with strong adherence to sterile compounding protocols. The pharmacy processes approximately 2,000 vials weekly, requiring precision, discipline, and reliability.

Schedule and Hours:

• Full-time position
• Typically 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (4x10s)
• Shifts may vary based on compounding volume
• Operating hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounded medications following established protocols and safety guidelines
• Maintain clean room standards to ensure product quality and sterility
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and fellow technicians to meet compounding demands
• Adhere strictly to pharmacy regulations and quality assurance standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification
• Sterile compounding certification and hands-on experience in sterile compounding environments
