An infusion center in Dallas is urgently seeking a highly skilled IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to fill a full-time position with potential for long-term employment. This role demands expert aseptic technique and a strong background in sterile compounding to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Location: 3409 Worth Street, Suite 740, Dallas, Texas 75246

Schedule:

  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM (exact shift TBD)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sterile IV admixtures including TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, and specialty infusions in strict accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards
  • Accurately label, package, and stage compounded products for pharmacist verification and timely delivery
  • Maintain cleanroom sterility through rigorous daily, weekly, and monthly environmental cleaning protocols, proper garbing, and thorough documentation
  • Manage inventory of IV medications and supplies to support seamless operations
  • Complete precise compounding logs, batch records, and quality control documentation
  • Perform additional duties as directed by a licensed pharmacist

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
  • Certification from PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)
  • IV Certification mandatory
  • Minimum 2 years of recent sterile compounding experience (3+ years preferred)
  • At least 4 years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Proven expertise in aseptic protocols and sterile technique
