Inpatient IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Lawrenceville, GA

A pharmacy technician with specialized IV certification is needed to support an outpatient oncology infusion center. This contract opportunity is based in the Canton, GA area, focused on chemotherapy preparation and administration within a hospital-affiliated cancer specialist setting.

Location: Canton, GA (Infusion Center)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Duration: Approximately 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments within an outpatient oncology infusion center (no blood transfusions)
• Utilize IV start skills and access implanted ports to ensure safe medication delivery
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines pertinent to oncology pharmacy practices
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support patient care and medication management

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in oncology and infusion pharmacy settings
• IV certification required
• Georgia pharmacy technician license mandatory
• Competent in outpatient chemotherapy procedures and protocols
• Ability to work weekday day shifts consistently
• Must not currently reside within 50 miles of the worksite location
