An opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support a specialized oncology infusion center. This contract role focuses on providing critical pharmacy services within an outpatient oncology environment, specifically administering chemotherapy and hematology treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer chemotherapy medications and other infusion treatments in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Perform IV starts and access implanted ports to facilitate treatment delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with oncology healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to medication preparation and administration.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings.
  • Certification in chemotherapy preparation and administration.
  • Current Georgia state pharmacy technician license.
  • Strong knowledge of IV procedures, including implanted port access.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Location:

  • Role is based near Lawrenceville, GA with a travel radius limited to candidates located beyond 50 miles from the facility to ensure compliance with travel policies.

This role offers a 13-week contract starting in late March, providing an excellent opportunity to apply specialized skills in a focused oncology environment.
