An opportunity is available for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to support an outpatient oncology infusion center specializing in chemotherapy treatments. This contract role spans approximately 13 weeks and operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Location:
- Canton, GA (Candidates located within 50 miles are not eligible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer chemotherapy and select hematology treatments under supervision
- Utilize IV start skills and manage implanted port access effectively
- Work within an outpatient oncology infusion center environment, adhering strictly to safety protocols
- Ensure accurate labeling, handling, and storage of chemotherapy drugs
- Collaborate closely with oncology healthcare professionals to support patient care
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings
- Certification in chemotherapy preparation and handling (Chemo Cert) is required
- Proficient in IV starts and implanted port access techniques
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia
- Familiarity with outpatient oncology infusion center procedures

- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
