A healthcare facility seeks an experienced IV/Infusion/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to contribute to their oncology and infusion pharmacy operations. This position emphasizes the delivery of medications and nonhazardous sterile compounding, supporting infusion clinics, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units.

Contract Details:

  • Location: Leominster, MA
  • Duration: 13 weeks, starting 3/2
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with some rotating Saturdays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medications to the infusion clinic, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units
  • Assist with Pyxis medication management systems
  • Perform non-chemotherapy sterile compounding and support medication preparation
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure timely medication delivery

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license in hand
  • National Pharmacy Technician certification required
  • IV certification with experience in infusion and chemotherapy medication preparation
  • Strong understanding of sterile compounding practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours and rotate Saturday shifts as needed
