IV Certified Pharmacy Technician - Lexington, KY

A leading closed-door long-term care facility in Lexington, Kentucky, is seeking a qualified Lead IV Pharmacy Technician to support their compounding operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the compounding room ensuring accuracy and sterility
• Prepare IV medications using aseptic techniques in a clean room environment
• Manage inventory and monitor supplies efficiently
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and safety standards
• Cross-train in the narcotics department to support broader pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Kentucky Pharmacy Technician license required
• Recent hands-on experience compounding intravenous medications (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Prior lead technician experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with Frameworks software is beneficial; training will be provided
• Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and reliability
• PTCB certification is highly preferred but not mandatory

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rotating weekends required
