Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician IV Certified - Long Beach, California

An immediate direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician specializing in home infusion and compounding. This role requires strong skills in IV preparation and hands-on experience with patient and provider communications. Ideal candidates will have a background in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy environments, excluding inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.

Location: Long Beach, CA
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, with start times at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:00 AM (flexibility required)
• Rotating weekends
• Coverage spans 7 days a week, 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile products following proprietary workflow systems
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to manage therapy needs and address concerns
• Collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of home infusion treatments
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician with IV compounding credentials
• Proven experience in home infusion or compounding pharmacy settings (retail compounding experience is a plus)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient and provider interactions
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic workflow in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates exclusively from inpatient hospital pharmacy roles will not be considered
