A growing healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy for a direct hire opportunity. This role demands a skilled tech who is IV Certified and adept at managing both compounding tasks and direct communication with patients and healthcare providers. Candidates with inpatient-only pharmacy experience will not be considered, as this role requires pacing and communication skills aligned with outpatient settings.

Location: Long Beach, CA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with flexible start times at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., or 10 a.m.
• Rotating weekends required
• Hours of operation cover 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compounding sterile and non-sterile products within a proprietary workflow system
• Engaging directly with patients and healthcare providers via phone to ensure clear communication and support
• Effectively managing infusion supplies and preparation in a home infusion or compounding pharmacy setting

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician certification with IV compounding credentials
• Proven experience specifically in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and healthcare providers
• Ability to adapt to proprietary workflow systems and maintain efficiency under a fast-paced environment
• Retail compounding pharmacy background is a strong advantage
• Flexibility in scheduling, including weekend rotations
