A healthcare facility in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to prepare IV admixtures and support pharmacy operations. This role offers opportunities for both contract-to-hire and direct hire placements across several locations, primarily during the day shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and compound intravenous (IV) admixtures accurately and safely
  • Handle prescriptions and medication preparation in compliance with pharmacy protocols
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy work area
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure timely medication delivery
  • Adhere to safety and quality control guidelines during all medication preparations

Qualifications:

  • Current Pharmacy Technician certification with IV admixture preparation experience
  • Valid pharmacy technician license as required by the state
  • Strong knowledge of sterile compounding practices and pharmacy operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under supervision in a fast-paced environment
