IV Certified Pharmacy Technician - Lowell, MA

An established healthcare facility in Lowell, MA is seeking an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician for a critical 13-week contract role starting March 2nd. This position offers the opportunity to support oncology and infusion pharmacy operations, ensuring timely medication delivery and sterile compounding for nonhazardous preparations.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver medications to the infusion clinic, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units
• Assist with medication management using Pyxis systems
• Perform nonhazardous sterile compounding, primarily focusing outside of chemotherapy preparations
• Support oncology and infusion pharmacy workflows to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license
• National Pharmacy Technician certification
• IV certification with proven experience in infusion and chemotherapy settings
• Strong familiarity with sterile compounding techniques and medication delivery logistics
• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy and clinical teams
