Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Lynn Haven, Florida

A pharmacy technician with IV compounding expertise is needed for a contract-to-hire opportunity located in Lynn Haven, FL. This role offers the chance to work full-time in a clean room infusion center, supporting patients receiving treatments such as chemotherapy.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound IV medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring precise dosing and adherence to OSHA and pharmacy guidelines.
• Verify medication orders, patient details, and drug integrity, maintaining detailed logs, temperature records, lot numbers, and controlled substance documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment including routine hood cleaning, disposal of materials, and keeping drug information and MSDS sheets up to date.
• Manage pharmacy inventory tasks including receiving, shelving, labeling, and billing to ensure medication availability and accuracy in data entry.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of experience in pharmacy practice with demonstrated IV compounding skills.
• IV certification preferred.
• Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Previous experience working in oncology or chemo compounding is highly preferred.
