An infusion center is seeking an experienced IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract to hire opportunity in Lynn Haven, FL. This position supports medication preparation and compounding within a clean room environment, primarily for patients receiving treatments such as chemotherapy. The role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols, ensuring the highest standards in patient care and regulatory compliance.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (1st shift, full-time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound and prepare medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accurate dosing and authorization.
• Verify patient and order information, maintaining thorough documentation including temperature logs, lot numbers, and controlled substance records.
• Uphold cleanliness and compliance of work areas, including hood cleaning and safe disposal of materials.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, labeling, shelving, billing, and data entry to ensure medication availability.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3-5 years pharmacy experience with IV compounding skills.
• IV certification is preferred.
• Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate required.
• National certification/license preferred.
• Prior experience in chemotherapy compounding is highly desirable.
