IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Lynn Haven, FL

A contract-to-hire opportunity is available for an experienced IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Lynn Haven, FL, specializing in infusion center operations within a clean room environment. This role offers a full-time first-shift schedule with hours Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to authorization, insurance, OSHA, and departmental protocols.
• Verify medication orders, patient data, and drug integrity while maintaining detailed logs, temperature records, lot numbers, and controlled substance documentation.
• Sustain clean and compliant work areas through hood cleaning, proper disposal of materials, and upkeep of drug information and MSDS sheets.
• Manage inventory processes including receiving, shelving, labeling, billing, and accurate data entry to guarantee medication availability and smooth pharmacy operations.
• Prior experience in chemotherapy compounding is highly preferred to support patient treatment needs.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience with proficient IV compounding skills.
• IV certification is preferred.
• Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate required.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred.
