Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Marietta, Georgia

A healthcare facility specializing in outpatient oncology infusion seeks an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to support its chemotherapy and hematology treatment services. This contract position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule with weekday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., starting March 23 for a duration of approximately 13 weeks.

Location:

• Marietta, GA area (Candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments in an outpatient infusion center
• Utilize IV start skills along with implanted port access techniques
• Support safe handling and preparation of medications in an oncology environment
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure the accurate delivery of patient therapies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in oncology infusion pharmacy settings
• Certification in Chemotherapy preparation and administration
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician (GA license required)
• Proficiency with IV starts and handling implanted ports
• Knowledge of oncology and hematology treatment protocols
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
