Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Marietta, Georgia

A retail pharmacy is seeking a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join their team at a site in Hiram, GA. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, providing flexibility in scheduling within the pharmacy's operating hours.

Schedule:

• Full-time or part-time options available
• Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized medications including creams, ointments, capsules, and suspensions under pharmacist supervision
• Follow USP <795> guidelines for non-sterile compounding
• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients and mix compounds to precise specifications
• Package, label, and document preparations meticulously using master logs
• Maintain compounding equipment and ensure strict adherence to cleaning protocols
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety and compliance

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license
• Certification or experience in non-sterile compounding, with at least one year of related work experience
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment
