A well-established infusion center specializing in oncology is seeking an experienced IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support their outpatient oncology department. This contract position, based in Canton, GA, offers a full-time schedule with weekday day shifts, providing a focused environment to apply your technical skills in a rewarding healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments according to established protocols.
• Perform IV starts and access implanted ports safely and efficiently.
• Support the outpatient oncology infusion team with precise medication preparation and handling.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and nursing staff to optimize patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings.
• IV Certification with demonstrated expertise in chemotherapy preparation and administration.
• Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license.
• Proficiency in IV start techniques and accessing implanted ports.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Candidates located outside a 50-mile radius of the site are preferred.
