Join a dynamic healthcare setting as an IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician supporting the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded IV medications. This 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for technicians with a strong background in IV clean room compounding and a valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license.
Location: Naples, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Duration: 13-week contract with potential to convert to permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Compound IV medications in a sterile clean room environment under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Fill prescriptions accurately and assist in prepackaging medications according to established standards and government regulations
- Support final verification and packaging of medications alongside pharmacists for quality assurance
- Collaborate with billing to accurately enter prescription data for reimbursement processes
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving, rotating stock, and maintaining detailed records of lot numbers and expiration dates
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment, ensuring equipment calibration and safety standards are upheld
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Florida Pharmacy Technician license is required
- National certification preferred but not mandatory
- Prior IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician experience highly preferred, with strong knowledge of sterile compounding practices
- Ability to work effectively under supervision and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
