Pharmacy Technician IV Certified - Nashville, Tennessee

An infusion pharmacy seeks an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician for an immediate opening in Nashville, TN. This position offers an 8-week contract assignment with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IV medications and fill prescriptions under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing according to regulatory standards.
• Support the final check of filled prescriptions and coordinate timely delivery to customers.
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer systems for reimbursement.
• Help maintain inventory accuracy by receiving, rotating medications, and tracking expiration dates.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of work environment, including equipment calibration checks.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license required.
• IV certification and prior intravenous preparation experience mandatory.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced infusion center environment.
