Immediate opportunity for experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technicians in New York, NY, specializing in infusion and clean room compounding. This 13-week contract position offers the potential to transition into a permanent role for candidates who demonstrate strong performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare IV medications and compounds under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
- Accurately fill prescriptions, ensuring compliance with standards and government regulations.
- Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to input data for prescription processing and reimbursement.
- Assist Pharmacist in final prescription verification, packaging, and coordination of timely delivery to customers.
- Support inventory management, including receiving, rotating stock, and maintaining proper labeling.
- Help maintain a clean, safe work environment by checking equipment calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid New York State Pharmacy Technician license.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Proven experience in IV/Infusion pharmacy technician duties is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under the supervision of pharmacists with clear communication.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Shifts available: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM
