A healthcare facility in New York, NY is seeking two IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technicians for a 13-week contract with potential for contract-to-hire based on performance. This position requires a candidate with strong skills in sterile IV compounding and pharmacy technician responsibilities within an infusion setting.
Responsibilities include compounding sterile IV medications in a clean room environment under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. You will fill prescriptions, prepare intravenous medications, and assist with data entry alongside the Billing Supervisor to ensure accurate reimbursement. This role involves prepackaging medications for dispensing in compliance with regulatory standards and assisting pharmacists with quality checks and final reviews before medication delivery. You will also support pharmacy management by maintaining proper inventory controls, handling receipt and rotation of medications, and ensuring lot numbers and expiration dates are tracked. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace and checking equipment calibration and safety are critical aspects of the role.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current NY Pharmacy Technician license
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required
- Prior IV/Infusion compounding experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of sterile compounding standards and regulatory compliance
- Detail-oriented with ability to follow strict procedures under pharmacist supervision

- Monday through Friday
- Day shift options: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
