Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Panama City Beach, Florida

This opportunity is for a skilled IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician to work in a specialized infusion center. The role involves preparing and compounding medications, including chemotherapy compounds, within a clean room environment. Location: Panama City Beach, FL
Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
• 1st shift, full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile IV medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Verify prescription orders, patient data, and medication integrity; maintain detailed logs including temperature monitoring, lot numbers, and controlled substance records.
• Maintain a clean and compliant workspace by performing routine hood cleaning, managing waste disposal, and keeping drug information and MSDS sheets up to date.
• Manage pharmacy inventory including receiving, shelving, labeling, billing, and accurate data entry to ensure medication availability.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of pharmacy experience, with demonstrated IV compounding skills.
• IV certification preferred.
• Valid Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate required.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Experience with chemotherapy compounding highly preferred.
