IV Certified Pharmacy Technician - Panama City Beach, FL

Bring your expertise in sterile compounding to a well-established infusion center located in Panama City Beach, FL, supporting patients receiving critical treatments, including chemotherapy. This is a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity offering a full-time first-shift schedule that provides work-life balance and a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and compound IV medications under pharmacist supervision, adhering to strict dosing, authorization, and insurance requirements.
• Verify patient orders, ensuring accuracy of drug information, proper documentation, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain sterile and clean workspaces, including hood cleaning and appropriate hazardous materials disposal.
• Manage pharmacy inventory processes, from receiving shipments and labeling to billing and precise data entry supporting seamless medication availability.
• Keep up-to-date logs, temperature records, lot number tracking, and controlled substance documentation in line with OSHA and departmental protocols.

Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of pharmacy experience with demonstrated IV compounding skills.
• IV certification preferred.
• Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate required.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification is advantageous.
• Experience in chemotherapy compounding highly valued.
