IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Panama City Beach, FL

An opportunity is available for an experienced IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a dynamic infusion center on a 13-week contract to hire basis. This role is based in Panama City Beach, FL, working primarily with chemotherapy and other infusion treatments in a clean room setting designed to support patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accurate dosing and strict adherence to regulatory and safety standards including OSHA guidelines.
• Verify physician orders, patient details, and drug integrity; maintain comprehensive logs, temperature records, batch lot numbers, and controlled substance documentation.
• Maintain a clean, compliant environment including hood cleaning, proper waste disposal, and up-to-date drug information resources such as MSDS sheets.
• Manage inventory, processing incoming materials, labeling, billing, and maintaining accurate data records to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and medication availability.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three to five years of pharmacy experience with IV compounding skills.
• IV certification preferred.
• Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred.
