A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to support infusion center operations in Panama City, FL. This role is a 13-week contract to hire, focusing on accurate medication preparation and compounding within a clean room environment. Candidates with chemo compounding experience will find their skills especially valuable as they contribute to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring proper dosing, authorization, and compliance with OSHA and departmental standards.
  • Verify medication orders, patient details, drug integrity, and maintain detailed records including logs, temperature monitoring, lot numbers, and controlled substance documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant clean room environment by performing hood cleaning, proper disposal of pharmaceutical materials, and managing drug information as well as MSDS sheets.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory including receiving, shelving, labeling, billing, and precise data entry to ensure optimal medication availability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three to five years’ pharmacy experience, including IV compounding skills.
  • IV Certification preferred.
  • Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate required.
  • National Pharmacy Technician License preferred.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time, 1st shift
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
