Location:

• Panama City, FL

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, first shift
• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision, following strict dosing and authorization protocols.
• Verify patient orders, drug integrity, and insurance approvals, maintaining precise documentation including logs, temperature records, and controlled substance records.
• Ensure cleanliness and compliance of work areas by performing regular hood cleaning, proper disposal of materials, and managing drug information and MSDS sheets.
• Handle pharmacy inventory tasks such as receiving, shelving, labeling, billing, and data entry to facilitate smooth pharmacy operations.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ pharmacy experience with proficient IV skills.
• IV certification strongly preferred.
• Valid Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate.
• National Pharmacy Technician License is a plus.
• Experience with chemotherapy compounding highly valued.
