Location: Panama City, FL
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and compound IV medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring precise dosing, proper authorization, and insurance approvals.
- Verify patient information, drug integrity, and medication orders, maintaining accurate logs, temperature records, lot numbers, and controlled substance documentation.
- Maintain cleanroom standards through hood cleaning, safe disposal of materials, and upkeep of all drug information and MSDS sheets, ensuring OSHA and departmental compliance.
- Handle inventory management including receiving, shelving, labeling, billing, and accurate data entry to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and medication availability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience with IV compounding skills.
- IV certification preferred.
- Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician license required.
- National Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
- Experience in chemotherapy compounding strongly preferred.
