IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Plano, TX

A leading infusion therapy center in Plano, TX is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician with IV certification to join their team in a Temp-to-Hire capacity. This role focuses on sterile compounding to support a broad array of infusion services, including antibiotic therapy, fertility infusions, and complex specialty treatments. The opportunity offers full-time hours with the goal of transitioning into a long-term position.

Location: Plano, Texas (Suite 740, 3409 Worth Street)
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday
Shift: 8-hour shift scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM (to be determined)
Contract: 13+ weeks (Temp-to-Perm)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile IV admixtures such as TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, and specialty infusions in strict compliance with USP <797>/<800> standards
• Accurately label, package, and stage compounded products for pharmacist verification and timely delivery
• Maintain clean room sterility through routine environmental cleaning, appropriate garbing, and meticulous documentation
• Manage inventory of IV medications and supplies to ensure consistent availability
• Complete detailed compounding logs, batch records, and quality control documentation
• Support additional pharmacy tasks as directed by a licensed pharmacist

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License is mandatory
• PTCB certification required
• IV Certification required
• Minimum of 2 years recent sterile compounding experience (3+ preferred)
• At least 4 years of recent pharmacy technician experience overall
• Strong expertise and confidence in aseptic technique is critical
