IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Spring, TX

This opportunity is for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician with expertise in IV certification and sterile compounding techniques, based in the Spring, TX area. The role supports a focused sterile compounding pharmacy specializing in wellness medications, operating with a dedicated team of two pharmacists and two technicians. The environment handles approximately 2,000 vials per week, requiring precision and strict adherence to cleanroom protocols.

Schedule and Hours:

• Full-time position, generally structured as four 10-hour shifts weekly
• Shift times may vary based on compounding volume
• Pharmacy operational hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile preparations adhering to regulatory and safety standards
• Maintain cleanroom discipline to ensure contamination-free processing
• Collaborate with pharmacists and fellow technicians to meet daily compounding demands
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper handling and storage of sterile products

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacy technician license and PTCB certification
• Valid sterile compounding certification with hands-on experience in sterile IV compounding
