Home Infusion IV Certified Pharmacy Technician - Torrance, CA

An established home infusion and compounding pharmacy is actively seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician with IV Certification to join their team on a direct hire basis. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy environments, focused on delivering patient-centered care with strong communication skills.

Location:

• Torrance, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday shifts starting at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:00 AM (flexibility required)
• Rotating weekends
• Operating hours are 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 7 days a week

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately compound sterile and non-sterile formulations following strict protocols
• Manage patient and provider communications effectively, assisting with order clarifications and updates
• Operate within a proprietary workflow system designed for efficient pharmacy operations
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless home infusion services
• Assist with inventory management and maintaining compliance standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician with IV Certification
• Proven experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings (retail compounding experience is also welcomed)
• Strong communication skills for direct interactions with patients and providers
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Candidates with hospital-only experience will not be considered
