A healthcare facility in Tulsa, OK is seeking two IV/Infusion Certified Pharmacy Technicians to support home infusion services. This 4-month contract role requires candidates who are licensed by the state pharmacy board of Oklahoma and have hands-on experience in compounding and dispensing infused medications for home care patients.

Schedule & Location:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • Contract duration: Immediate start through December 31

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compound sterile solutions and infused drugs following regulatory and safety protocols
  • Accurately dispense prescription medications and monitor patient medication usage and compliance
  • Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation
  • Educate patients on medication administration, device handling, and potential side effects
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize drug therapies
  • Supervise junior pharmacy staff and ensure proper inventory management of pharmaceutical supplies
  • Identify drug-related problems and provide consultation on prescription and over-the-counter medications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IV Certification with proven experience in home infusion pharmacy settings
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Active involvement in professional pharmacy societies or organizations is desirable
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent pharmacy technician certification preferred
  • Valid Oklahoma pharmacy technician license required
